Mount Pleasant man injured in standoff with police
Michael Harris 35 of Mount Pleasant was hospitalized after a standoff at his home. Police say Harris fired a rifle and pointed it at officers, who then fired shot gun pellets, injuring him as he retreated inside. He surrendered unarmed around 10 am and was later moved to University Hospitals in Iowa City. His condition was not released.
