Medicaid privatization progress in Iowa with provider signups
Gov. Branstad reports about one third of Iowa's 42,000 providers have signed contracts with four out of state managed care firms to run the 560,000 Medicaid recipients starting Jan 1. CMS will review readiness after on site visits in December and providers report outdated contract data and enrollment delays.
