Seat belt law tops IDOT list

Iowa Department of Transportation plans a mandatory seat belt law as its top priority for the next Legislature. The package also seeks limits on accident claim payouts, shifting aircraft registration and fuel tax refunds, a single overweight truck permit, and funding changes for ISP and road funds.
