UnityPoint to team with HealthPartners on new insurance venture
Des Moines based UnityPoint Health teams with HealthPartners to form HealthPartners UnityPoint Health a new insurance company selling Medicare Advantage plans in Iowa and Illinois. The joint venture aims to coordinate care across UnityPoint's provider network and HealthPartners' scale with planned product readiness by January 2017 pending licenses and CMS approval.
