Indiana Supreme Court limits damages in film loss case
The Indiana Supreme Court ruled four to one that photographer John R. Carr Jr. must recover only the cost of the lost film, $13.60, plus interest, and each party pays own legal costs. The decision overturned a $1,014.60 award from the Marion Municipal Court and the Indiana Court of Appeals.
