Disastrous Year Drives Iowa Disaster Declarations

Iowa faced its most widespread year of disasters since the 1960s with 56 counties declared for federal aid this year. Ellen Gordon of the Iowa Office of Disaster Services says the year is second nationally to Texas and floods caused at least 89 million dollars in property damage.

The Iowa DIA revoked the license and the DHS will terminate Medicaid contract effective January 24, 1991. Crestview Acres appealed the seven citations totaling 2800 dollars and seeks an informal hearing while the facility is not expected to close.
