Persistence pays off in citizenship process
Hiliana Suarez-Chancey, a Colombia native and 185th Air Refueling Wing member, became an American citizen after 28 people took their naturalization oath in Sioux City. She credits perseverance from green card residency in 1998 to her final oral civics test and the support of her American mentors and the military community.
