United forces of law pressed Wednesday to trace the killer of 6 year old Dorothy Ann Distelhurst whose body, found in a hospital grounds grave near Nashville, was identified through dental records. Authorities suspect a 45 year old man with car familiarity. ransom notes had prompted a distant ransom demand of 5000 dollars. The father, a Methodist publishing house salesman, arrived home shaken after a New York trip responding to the ransom threat.
President Roosevelt formed an inter departmental committee led by Secretary Morgenthau to coordinate all federal lending activities.
