Page Returns to Met Stadium in Bears Gear to Face Vikings
Alan Page, back at Metropolitan Stadium in a Chicago Bears uniform, faced his former Minnesota teammates with a mix of smiles and bitterness. He questioned the game ball awarded to Chuck Goodrum, who blocked him, and the Vikings’ decision to release him. Page defended his play, while Goodrum praised his intensity and said Page remains effective. Page looked forward to a legal career after football and valued being appreciated in Chicago. Bobby Bryant, Page’s old roommate, greeted him warmly as they reunited.
