Sixth Graders Begin Library Tour With Cedar Rapids Plan
Cedar Rapids students in public and parochial schools will visit the main library as part of a two year program led by Nancy McHugh. Sixth graders average twice weekly sessions, learning Dewey system basics and using catalogs under Miss Frelyo Zerzanek and Miss Shirley Lottich. The effort aims to build lifelong library use and reading enjoyment amid new reference corners and staff guidance.
