Carousel Rumbles Back to Life at Little Rock Zoo
Donors raised over 1 million dollars to restore the War Memorial Park carousel built in 1924. The unique four carriage ride, once shut in 1991, now operates at the Little Rock Zoo with preserved horses named by donors and accommodations for wheelchairs, after a revival by a local nonprofit.
