Woman and driver chase taxi to curb after fare dispute
Rather flashed her badge and, with an unidentified driver, pursued a taxi six miles south of the intended stop. The driver claimed the passenger hadn’t paid. The driver lacked a license, held on a traffic court matter, and drove on a temporary ticket while en route to the garage. The case left the fare unsettled as police noted a court appearance on January 23.
