Despondent teen hijacks plane then is ejected by pilot
In Cape Girardeau Missouri a despondent 19 year old Evansville Indiana resident named Jack Johnson chartered a Cessna 150 Aerobat. After pulling a .22 caliber revolver he ordered the pilot Richard Leibundguth to nose dive. At 8,500 feet the right door opened and Johnson was kicked out as the plane angled. Johnson's body was found in a field 25 miles southeast of Cape Girardeau. The pilot survived with minor injuries and is cooperating with authorities.
