Cedar Rapids Opens New Ground Transportation Center Open House
Cedar Rapids debuts its Ground Transportation Center with a bright waiting area and glass walls near shops, offices, and the Public Library. The city promotes the project as boosting jobs and tax base and invites an open house from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday November 6 with free shuttle service. City officials listed include Mayor Donald J. Canney and several commissioners.
