Lehmans Turn Home Into Ministry of Hospitality
Mary and Russ Lehman run a country home they call the House of Praise as a nontraditional ministry nonprofit. Churches including Open Door Ministries Grace Church and Victory Christian Center have used the space for worship and events while two weddings and prayer meetings have taken place. She found Christ at 40 after a life of religious involvement and occult seeking, and their story frames a shared mission to spread faith through hospitality and testimony. They host evangelistic meetings and plan a future testimony event for divorced or widowed individuals with directions to the Mount Vernon home.
