Youths Nabbed as Halloween Vandals

Reports of Halloween vandalism emerged Sunday as three hotel guests poured water from a fourth floor onto two women on Fourth Street. Leonard Rice, Eddie Barth, and Dick Lewis were arrested. Rice fined 25 dollars with most suspended for good behavior. Two other youths, Don Van Meter and Jim Ryan, were fined for discharging firearms. A brick shattered a window at John Corpora’s home and a pane was broken at the Sunshine Mission.
