State buys mobile units to serve as prison courtrooms
Iowa officials acquired two mobile units formerly used as classrooms from Fort Dodge for about 2500 and moved them to the Iowa State Penitentiary yard at a cost of 3600. One unit serves as a courtroom while the other houses a witness room judge chambers and media facilities for major disturbances.
