Race Forces End of Iowa Rainbow Girls

Girl in Critical Condition After Iowa City Shooting

A 16 year old girl, Susan McCune, was shot in the head during a dispute over a .22 pistol in Iowa City. Harold B Toomer, 16, is held on assault with intent to murder charges after the gun discharged during a struggle.
