Leo Skvor 41 a Cedar Rapids druggist and boating enthusiast died of a heart attack at his store shortly after returning from aiding in a river search at Ellis park beach. He had spent the afternoon using a cabin cruiser to tow seines along the river. No inquest will be held. He served in the navy 14 months in World War I and was active in veterans and fraternal groups. He is survived by his widow a daughter Jeanne and two sisters. Funeral Friday at 2 p.m. at Barta chapel with burial in Linwood cemetery military rites.

At 9 p.m. Tuesday a collision between a Keeshin Motor Express truck driven by James Edmunds and a Chicago and Denver truck driven by Howard Gardner near Cedar Rapids left all three men injured. Edmunds and Ritter were hospitalized with head and limb injuries, while Gardner suffered chest and arm injuries and was later released.
