Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Harry Linn says World War II affects farming with both positives and negatives. Prices rise and more land is cultivated, but soil erosion worsens with soybeans. Livestock emphasis, fertilizer shifts, insecticides, and new farming tech offer future gains amid supply and war-related challenges.
