Center Point-Urbana kicks athlete off team
Center Point-Urbana's decision to remove Jeremy Squires from the track team follows a school board vote backing administration action. The 18 year old was deemed in attendance at a kegger where alcohol was present, despite not drinking, under the district's Good Conduct Policy. The board weighed the meaning of being "in attendance" and considered options to uphold, reverse, or modify the decision.
