Feeder Pigs Attacked by Dogs On Farm
On the Leo Kerkov farm east of Independence two German shepherd dogs attacked a herd of 80 pound feeder pigs early Wednesday. Four pigs were killed and 19 injured. Kerkov shot one dog. the other escaped. He expected many injured pigs would have to be destroyed with no loss estimate yet.
