Cedar Rapids City Hall considers street curb work and code changes
City officials received petitions for curb and gutter work along with oil surfacing on several Cedar Rapids streets. The council referred Center street NE drainage to City Engineer Frank Young and discussed plumbing code changes proposed by Cedar Rapids Master Plumbers. A stock exhibit request by Merrill Lynch was denied, while layoff and parking approvals were granted and several sewer and curb projects advanced.
