Edward D. Greedy aged 61 secretary and general manager of LeFebvre Corporation died at 2200 Fifth Avenue SE Cedar Rapids shortly after a stroke. Born October 29 1876 in Wivelscombe England he moved to the United States at six, lived in Shenandoah Iowa and Emmetsburg before joining LeFebvre in Cedar Rapids thirty one years ago. He is survived by his wife Edna Colton of Cedar Rapids two sons Johnson C and Edward O Greedy and a daughter Margaret Ann Greedy all of Cedar Rapids plus three sisters Lillian Beach and Myrtie and another sister unnamed.

Temperatures rose from 61 at 5 30 a.m. to 70 by 9 30 a.m. The mid-morning shower added .11 inch and 1:15 p.m. saw 74. By 2:30 p.m. it cooled to 73 after a 83 high at 4 p.m. and 76 at 7 p.m. The log shows 65 at midnight.

Presbyterians Accept Episcopal Union Invitation
The Presbyterian General Assembly in Philadelphia voted Friday to pursue organic church union with the Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States of America. Two Drivers Hurt In Car Truck Crash
