University site redevelop plan with mixed use housing and hotel
The proposal outlines a phase 1 redevelopment of the former University Athletic Club site adjacent to Finkbine Golf Course. Focus Development leads the project with Newbury Living and other partners, spanning two jurisdictions Iowa City and University Heights, while taxes apply only to new building value and the land may transfer to University heights as part of a tax sharing agreement.
