Yahoo and eBay announce a multiyear alliance to combine online advertising payments and communications. Sunnyvale based Yahoo reports 402 million users and 1.9 billion dollars in profit last year while San Jose based eBay states 200 million auction users and 73 million PayPal US accounts.
