Bergman denies urging stockholders to sell Keystone stake
Cedar Rapids attorney William Bergman testified in Linn District Court that he never urged minority shareholders to sell to Ralston Purina. He said his concern was to help investors gain from their investment while opposing a straight $3 million equity offer as dilution. The $75 million suit accuses Ralston Purina of overpaying or misvaluing stock from the 1973 takeover of Keystone Ski Resort.

Plaintiffs include Bjornson, O’Donnell, O’Brien, Linge Investments, and Doerfer Voorhees.
