Lagonda prototype dazzles with microprocessor luxury
A Lagonda prototype shown in New York showcases an aluminum hand built interior and a wall of electronic controls. Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd. says production starts late this year in Britain and a year later in the United States, with $10 000 down and $75 000 price. The car features a microprocessor speed and fuel readouts, multi display panel, and preset engine instructions. Peter Sprague, co chairman, calls it the world’s most luxurious car.
