In Mechanicsville, heavy showers canceled a three week plan for a joint science and art field trip to Red Oak Park. Fifty-five 10 to 11 year olds urban a indoor science lesson with live specimens in Mrs Sadeghpour's class. Students adapted, drawing and exploring specimens while critiquing the weather disruption.
