County Building Rules May Hike Prairie High Project Cost
Architects told the College Community school board that county building codes could force costly work on Prairie high's aging structure. An appeal to the county appeals board was authorized to challenge the 12 month 50 percent rule, as combined additions exceed the threshold. If the appeal fails the district must remodel or delay the second addition.
