Miss Joan L. Keleher and Dean M. Kiefer married at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Cedar Rapids with 250 guests. The bride wore an organza and satin Empire gown. the groom is son of Mrs. John M. Kiefer of Winona Minnesota. The couple will reside on Old Marion road after a trip to the Eastern states. Both are employed by Collins Radio Co.
Laura Willis Agnew and her twin sister Clara Ellis pleaded guilty to cashing a government check wrongly delivered to their home. Agnew's ninth child Bailey Brown Agnew was born nine days after the indictment. The judge called the sentence suspended, noting it did not reflect the court's decision.
