Faith based firm to defend Iowa abortion law in court
The Iowa Executive Council approved a pro bono contract with the Thomas More Society to defend SF 359 the fetal heartbeat law. The arrangement covers Gov Reynolds and the Iowa Board of Medicine with the state sued by Planned Parenthood of the Heartland and others. The court date is June 1 in Des Moines for a temporary injunction request.
