Central City man arrested in handgun case
REGIONAL ROUNDUP reports Dan E. Dye, 64, of Central City, was arrested after a Saturday night argument, accused of firing a .357 handgun. No injuries. Dye faces terrorism and domestic abuse charges and was jailed then released. In Dundee, Gary A. Cipale, 40, Altoona, died when his motorcycle left 140th Avenue. he was pronounced dead after hospital transfer. Grinnell fire department member hospitalized from a house fire with $90,000 damage. Red Cross assisting the family as investigators work.

West Union man charged in copper theft case
West Union resident Austin Ruroden, 18, was arrested and charged with third degree theft a class C felony criminal trespass possession of burglary tools and third degree burglary after stripping copper at the North Star plant in West Union. He was jailed May 14 and released May 15.
