Courthouse News Housing Plan Heads Back to County Board
Howard Mitchell seeks re zoning from rural to residential for 35 of 65 acres east of Covington. Linn County zoning commission approves for a second time and sends to supervisors who previously rejected it citing funding and service issues. Four neighbors oppose citing density and services. Other actions include permits for a nursery and water tank project, a rejected salvage yard, and several rezonings and plats in the area.
