Cedar Rapids pushes six housing tax credit applications

Cedar Rapids City Council approved six workforce housing tax credit applications from developers via the IEDA, adding to five approved last month. The moves extend city incentives as local matches for state credits, with several projects already receiving city incentives. The slate includes Big Ben LLC and Hub LLC, both linked to Joe Altmann, redevelopment of the Terex site, Matthew 235, Sinclair on Sixteenth by Watts Group, and Prairie Rose Rental Co. at 1120 and 1128 15th St SE.
