Wilmington 10 Appeal Denied by North Carolina Judge
A judge denied a new trial for the Wilmington 10 defendants after 10 days of testimony. Judge George Fountain ruled there was no substantial denial of constitutional rights in the 1972 arson and conspiracy trial, despite claims of prosecutorial misconduct and perjured testimony. Indonesia will maintain a 10 percent oil price rise and skip the 5 percent OPEC increase set for July 1, per Mining Minister Sadri.
