Elizabeth Montgomery dies at 57 or 62 of cancer in California

Gazette wire services report actress Elizabeth Montgomery, star of Bewitched, died at home after cancer surgery. The 57 or 62 year old, famed for Samantha, died about a month after tumor removal. Montgomery's career spanned theater and TV films, including Deadline for Murder, with a long run on ABC's Bewitched.

Dancer Alexander Godunov found dead at 45 in California

West Hollywood, AP reports dancer Alexander Godunov was found dead at his home shortly before noon at age 45. The Bolshoi alumnus defected to the United States in 1979, joining the American Ballet Theatre before pursuing an acting career. He appeared in Witness and The Money Pit, among other projects, with publicist noting recent Budapest filming.
