European sensations stir small audience at Five Seasons Center
Dee Ann Rexroi reviews a Cedar Rapids concert featuring Depeche Mode and Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark. Despite only 2,300 attendees, the intimate show drew praise for OMD’s live energy and the strong, danceable synth textures, with Depeche Mode delivering a visually ambitious set. Audience reaction varied, with locals craving more bite and spectacle from the performance.
