Hitler Double a Myth Rejected by Hitler Secretary
SOUTHERN GERMANY AP The principal secretary for the last two years of the war said the idea that Adolf Hitler had a double was false. Gerhardt Herrgesell testified Hitler never used a double and dismissed the rumor as stories. He said Hitler and aides hoped for a British Russia split and discussed ways to end the war with Britain and then fight Russia. He added that a plan to plant a story about 200000 Russians ready to invade Britain was entertained by Hitler Goebbels and Goering.
