William J. Merritt 55 of Center Point died May 17 2018 at Mercy Medical Center Cedar Rapids after a short illness. A memorial service and visitation are planned at Murdoch Funeral Home Marion. He owned Area Engine Service in Alburnett and enjoyed tractor pulls and catering events for family and friends.
