Alumni events coordinate with Friday ground breaking for the Sutherland C Dows Fine Arts Center on campus. Robert Greene 1950 handles registration in Gage union with a Friday noon ceremony led by President Nussbaum. Ground breaking at Old Main site marks memorial for Sutherland C Dows with participation by Dows family and Coquillette. Construction begins June.

Over 600 Tour Cedar Rapids Police Station Open House
More than 600 people toured the Cedar Rapids police station through Wednesday this week, surpassing last year’s figure. An open house runs Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 9 am to noon with displays and officers available to answer questions.
