Uncle Wiggily and the Wise Owl in the Woods
Uncle Wiggily hides from a Great Horned Owl as the hooting bird pursues him through the woods. The rabbit narrator notes the owl as a symbol of wisdom and plans to alert other animal pupils at Hollow Tree School. The tale ends with Uncle Wiggily escaping into a hole amid caution about dark owls. Also notes railway dining cars and their $85 million investment across American rail systems.
