Federal help for Iowa roads includes 650000 per year
Federal appropriation would provide 650000 annually to Iowa for farm to market and secondary roads for 1937 38 and 1938 39 with a dollar for dollar state match. Funds would be allocated by the governor to counties and could build miles of road or bridge segments, doubling with state or county matching. The total federal program totals 125000000 for each year nationwide.
