Iowa City man charged after drunken crash injures three
Austin Allison-Schuppert, 29, faces charges after a 12:25 a.m. crash on private Johnson County property left three passengers injured, two with life threatening injuries. Police found alcohol, marijuana and a pipe. he admitted drinking two beers and was charged with drug possession and serious injury by vehicle. Bond set at $17,000.

Cedar Rapids man airlifted after motorcycle crash
A Cedar Rapids man, Ontario Deshawn Taylor, 21, suffered life threatening injuries when he lost control of a 2006 Suzuki and hit a guardrail while exiting Highway 13 onto Highway 30 eastbound before 8:30 p.m. He was wearing a helmet. The incident marked Linn County's third motorcycle crash of the day with serious injuries. The Linn County Sheriff’s Office launched a two week Click It or Ticket seat belt enforcement campaign starting Monday to June 3 to promote life saving belt use.
