Marion considers limits on fireworks ordinance planned
Marion City Council will draft an ordinance on fireworks at Thursday's meeting. They will consider banning use, limiting it to a window around July 4 and Jan 1, or allowing full state‑law windows. Fire Chief Krebill favors full use during allowed sale periods. Demolition of the old railroad bridge also discussed with piers to be removed at an estimated cost over 300000 from corridor funding.
