Williamsburg School Becomes Home Of Twin Graduates
Special to The Gazette Williamsburg two twins will graduate in 1941. Delaine Bryson joined Williamsburg as a junior from Parnell high school and excelled in basketball. The Matheson twins performed in band and choir. Since 1911, seven twin sets have graduated from the school. Other current pairs include Oren and Kieth Peterson, Helen and Mary Osborn, and Thelma and Velma Rathjen.

The Louisa county town of 861, 25 miles north of Burlington, owes its name to a sunrise. Cicero Hamilton and Henry Blake found Hamilton's oxen as the sun appeared over the horizon and proposed Morning Sun, a name that stuck.

Anamosa Boating Club Formed To Protect River Access

Two Postville Girls on Bicycle Injured in Wreck

Indians Lay Cornerstone At New Shelter House
The Mesquakie Indians laid a cornerstone for a new shelter house west of Tama on the Lincoln highway. The 50 by 30 foot stone structure will feature an 18 inch rock wall, a large fireplace and booths for native artcraft sales, with CCC labor under Robert T. Mitchell. The park sits on 80 acres bought by the tribe and will be managed by tribal officers Davenport and colleagues.
