Iowa Supreme Court splits on cooperative rental housing
The Iowa Supreme Court ruled 5 2 in favor of the Iowa City Board of Review in Dolphin Residential Cooperative v Dolphin International. It held the 22 buildings were not properly organized as a cooperative for residential tax classification, costing Dolphin about 110000 annually.
