IE stockholder and Arnold clash over credibility at IE meeting
At IE's annual common stockholders meeting in IE Tower Swisher shareholder Donna Terpkosh challenged Chairman Duane Arnold on the utility's credibility with the public. Arnold defended IE's public image while underscoring Palo nuclear plant repair costs not included in the base rate rise of 7.9 percent. The session also covered three board retirements, potential recovery of repair costs, and ongoing fuel adjustment implications. Outside, anti nuclear demonstrators pledged workshops June 2 via Iowa Mobilization for Survival.
