Tickets for the Bernard Slade comedy Same Time Next Year go on sale to the public for the 1980-81 Cedar Rapids season. James Petersmith and Audrey Anderson star as George and Doris in a six scene progression from 1951 to 1975. Performances run Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm from May 22 to June 14. Tickets are five dollars with a one dollar discount for students seniors and groups of 15 or more. Reservations by mail telephone or box office at 1124 Third St SE CR. An Iowa Senate committee voted along party lines to reject the Legislative Service Bureau reapportionment plan that would pair two Republican congressmen in one district. The panel sent the plan to the Senate floor amid talk of debates Thursday and criticism over irregular shapes and county integrity. Democrats argued the plan nearly balances population, while supporters claim the districts are better drawn than current maps. The committee suggested alternative plans with less population deviation and more compact geography. An uneasy peace settled over the riot-plagued University of Iowa campus.
