Judge Hyland ruled the original six month sentence should stand and limited records to correction of mistakes, ending the dispute over where she served time.
The Postal Rate Commission approved a 15 cent first class stamp, rejecting Carter’s citizens’ rate plan. The action, aiming to raise $17.5 billion yearly, would raise postcards to 10 cents and lift second class, third class, and fourth class rates. Final action by the Postal Service is expected by month’s end.
Donald R. Campbell 33 of 520 McKinley St SE is in critical condition at St Luke's ICU after a two vehicle collision at 11 30 p m near 15th Street and First Avenue West. Lang J Leonard 45 of 5511 16th Ave SW drives a 1978 International truck and is in good condition at St Luke's.
The Federal Trade Commission filed a complaint against Acne-Statin makers for false acne claims and set a consent order with Pat Boone who endorsed the product. Boone agrees to pre review future endorsements and to pay part of any restitution if needed. Debby Boone appears in a TV spot backing the product.
